Inclusive Childhood Education - Assistant Professor - Nazareth College

Inclusive Childhood Education: The Department of Inclusive Childhood Education is strengthening its commitment to preparing pre-service and in-service teachers for effective instruction of all students; addressing the unique needs of students of diverse ability, culture, race, language, and socioeconomic status with an emphasis on inclusive education. Two tenure-track positions at the assistant level position in the Department of Inclusive Childhood Education within the School of Education have been established for the 2010-2011 academic year. An earned doctorate in Education is required (ABD will be considered), with content focus in mathematics, science, language arts or social studies education. Candidates must also have experience in preK-6 early childhood and/or childhood educational settings, including a teaching certificate. Candidates must be able to contribute to an inclusive cross-disciplinary model and be able to collaborate with urban, suburban, and rural school communities.
