NYHESC Statewide Taskforce Meeting

April 11, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel on Everett Road in Albany.

There will be an orientation to the TF session at 8:00 for first-time attendees, and begin the general sign-in at 8:30. The first presentation of the meeting will begin at 9:00.  We'll adjourn at 3:00.  Please let us know your intention with regard to attending so that we can plan and prepare materials accordingly.

If you would like to reserve an overnight room at the hotel for the Thursday night before, contact Iris Maxon at imaxon@syr.edu, and she'll attend to the reservation. We'll need to make reservations in early September, so we'll need to know your plans by Monday, March 17th.

Peter Kozik is working on the agenda, and we hope to send you a draft in early April. Once again, we'll have a variety of topics addressed, using a variety of formats. We think it will be at least as educative as earlier statewide meetings.

In anticipation of the meeting, please consider recommending any doctoral students in your regions who may be completing relevant dissertations as presenters for the next Statewide. Also, several of you have recommended other potential presentations from your regions already; if others that seems important and relevant occur to you in the weeks to come, please let me know.
