WHO
Practicing administrators and other school leaders including principals, special
education administrators, curriculum directors, superintendents, and educational
leadership students.
WHAT
An interactive three-day school leadership institute that will utilize the latest research
to help educators examine the skills necessary to create equitable and excellent
schools for all students. With increasing accountability to raise student achievement
for diverse learners, including students with disabilities, this institute gives school
leaders the opportunity to:
- Examine successful practices for the range of student learners with intentional focus on students with disabilities
- Gain new understandings of inclusive schools for the 21st century
- Learn ways to improve instructional access
- Focus on literacy as central for all students, issues of collaboration, and ways to maximize student belonging and achievement

Seminars, discussions, and workshops with Syracuse University School of Education
faculty: Dr. Julie Causton-Theoharis, Dr. George Theoharis, Dr. Kelly Chandler-Olcott,
and additional nationally renowned education experts including Dr. Rich Villa.
